Background
Our Fulwell base opened in 1902 as a tram shed and, with 18 tracks, it was one of the largest in Greater London. Trams ran from the Fulwell site for more than 30 years, when they were replaced by trolley buses. In fact, our Fulwell location was the first in the London area to run trolley buses. During 2021, electric buses will be introduced for the first time at this hub.
Manpreet is now the General Manager at Fulwell and Tolworth. Driven by her eagerness to learn about the bus industry, she took on several managerial roles before her promotion to General Manager of Hounslow and Hounslow Heath in 2022. Originally from Greater London, Manpreet enjoys working alongside people from diverse backgrounds, fostering an inclusive work environment. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to staff development, mentoring employees who have since advanced into major roles within the company.
“I’d love to see more women in senior roles,” said Manpreet “I’ll always commit to ensuring that the garages I run will be more inclusive to women at all levels who are pursuing their careers.”
