Solution
Organization of intercity transportation and schoolbusing have come under the umbrella of the Grand Est region since 1 January, 2017. With the Marne Mobilité public transit syndicate, the region wants to offer appealing, accessible alternative transportation to complement the rail connections already in place between various localities. Two RATP Dev subsidiaries were entrusted with running it: STDM operates nine bus routes, while Champagne Mobilités operates three routes.
As an operator based in the French departments of Marne and Ardennes, most of Champagne Mobilités’ business focuses on contracts awarded by local authorities. The company's expertise guarantees better service for locals, in particular with carefully considered fares and more frequent buses. It all comes together to meet genuine needs more closely.
