Since 2019, Mehdi Sinaceur has been a member of the RATP Dev Executive Committee and has overseen operations and development in the Americas, Asia-Pacific, South Africa, and United Kingdom territories. Since January 1st, 2022, Mr. Sinaceur is also COO and Deputy CEO of RATP Dev, and serves on the Executive Board.
Mr. Sinaceur has over 25 years of experience in international business, management, and consulting. After beginning his career in 1992 at Alcatel-Alstom in Japan, he went on to hold various positions of manufacturing and sales leadership working for major multinational companies in industry and transportation. In 2005 he joined Bombardier Transportation's Maintenance Division as Regional Director-Rest of World, and later served as Sales Director Mainline and Tramways, Northern Africa, working with the public sector on public tenders and critical contracts. In 2008 he was named Regional President and member of the Executive Committee at Lafarge Gypsum where he was in charge of Africa, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe; in 2012 he became Global Senior Vice-President, Ready-Mix performance at group level. In 2015 Mr. Sinaceur became a partner at McKinsey's Africa office, where he notably led international teams and helped to advise governments on major project deliveries in the public sector, with a focus on transportation and power infrastructure.
Mr. Sinaceur is a graduate of École Supérieure de Commerce de Paris (ESCP).
